Blue Spruce The Blue spruce has stiff silver-green to blue-green needles, needles are approximately 1" in length, needle retention is fair.

Scotch Pine The Scotch pine has stiff dark green needles, needles are approximately 2 to 2.5" in length, needle retention is good to excellent.

Fraser Fir The Fraser fir has soft shiny bright dark green needles with silver undersides, needles are 1/2" to 1.25" in length, needle retention is excellent and very fragrant, a very popular cut tree.

White Pine The White pine has very soft light green needles, needles are 4" in length, branches will not tolerate the weight of heavy ornaments, needle retention is good to excellent.

Norway Spruce The Norway spruce is a slow growing tree with stiff short 1" needles, the needles are dark green.  It grows dense and symmetrical with little shearing.
